WELCOME TO REALITY Words & music by: Michelle Creber (SOCAN)
Check off that box, Monday is done Morning is far away from us Next thing you know, Wednesday got lost Thursday was just as forgetful Friday we’re stuck
Is it the end of the world or just another bad day I’m not counting the cards on it either way So we screwed up this round, well I’m redealing them Until they say we’ll be ok ‘Cause we’ve got no choice but to stay Welcome to reality
Wrapped up in when, hollow with how So often like why should I even care at all Life waits for end, wonder if you and time are still friends It feels like every week all the answers you need Run farther from reach
You say to me is it the end of the world or just another bad day Don’t be counting the cards on it either way So ya screwed up this round, well I’m redealing them Until they say you’ll be ok ‘Cause you’ve got no choice but to stay Welcome to reality
Welcome to you, welcome to me Welcome to them, we’re all stuck with the same hand
Is it the end of the world or just another bad day I’m not counting the cards on it either way So we screwed up this round, well I’m redealing them Until they say we’ll be ok ‘Cause we’ve got no choice but to stay
And no, it’s not the end of the world, it’s just another bad day And that lucky hand is coming your way So don’t be afraid while I’m redealing when They’re gonna say you’ll be ok Stay patient to win it all someday
I know they’re gonna say we’ll be ok ‘Cause we’ve got so much time to play Welcome to reality

Hey S'MORES (the people who read my Show More descriptions)
What a weird time to be alive :D Such a mix of emotions these days. Feeling inspired but discouraged, feeling excited but under-stimulated, feeling eager to see people but also feeling attached to these introverted covid habits, feeling hopeful but feeling so scared about the world in general. Welcome to our reality! Everything is complicated, but all we can do is take it day by day, focus on the now, and just keep trying to be a better person for ourselves and for the people around us! This is the last music video for the Storm album, a goodbye to an era I suppose haha. So much new music to come…SO much. When in doubt, song write it out - that should be my cheesy journal cover saying.
Lots of love :) - MichelleELECTRICITY (music video) - Michelle CreberMichelle Creber2022-02-11 | "Electricity" is from the STORM album. Available on Spotify, iTunes/Apple Music etc. All links here: https://Linktr.ee/MichelleCreberMusic
ELECTRICITY Words & music by: Michelle Creber (SOCAN)
I’ve held back my words Dangled them over the edge But never dove in
Well I’ve tried subtle things Wonder how obvious they’ve been Out of clues to give
Cause I’m having trouble Receiving your signals The wires are crossed As everybody’s eyes are on us
Pretty soul, beautiful angel, I’ve been so Deep in love and buried in unknown ground And I think you’ve figured it out It’s temporary torture and I know I’ll get over it I’ll stay a friend, but Tell me maybe I won’t have to
When you focus in on me Can you feel that electricity
Don’t be afraid There’s nothing those lips could say To push this soul away
You’ll never lose me I’m yours entirely Whatever that means Friends or everything
But I’m having trouble Receiving your signals The wires are crossed As everybody’s eyes are on us
Pretty soul, beautiful angel, I’ve been so Deep in love and buried in unknown ground And I think you’ve figured it out It’s temporary torture and I know I’ll get over it I’ll stay a friend, but Tell me maybe I won’t have to
When you focus in on me Can you feel that electricity

Hey S'mores (the people who read my Show More descriptions)
Couple of cool things about this video! 1. We filmed it with a snorricam - a rig that attaches the camera to the actor. It's usally used in the context of action sequences or dizzying one takes but we thought it would be really interesting to use it in a dreamy, romantic styled video, to represent that forward motion and kind of overwhelming desire you feel when you're faling in love. 2. I sang the song at 200% speed while we were filming and then the footage was slowed down in post to match back up with the song. This is why the video has a slow motion effect!
Certainly different than anything I've ever done before but I like the super up close and personal concept for this particular song, ya know? Hope you enjoyed this unique video & have a fabulous weekend!
This concert was the FIRST time we actually got to bring all the Storm songs to life, live on stage, with a brilliant, veteran band and group of singers (all double vaxxed)! It’s gonna be a really fun watch. Hope you'll join us on Saturday night :)LITTLE GHOSTS (music video) | Michelle Creber & Claire Corlett | Halloweek 2021Michelle Creber2021-10-30 | Listen to "Little Ghosts" on Claire's Spotify here: open.spotify.com/album/4XNjZjfxNPneh5zMqjGpBA

Mich But honestly, how are these stupid leaves significantly, more interesting than me? Everyone lookin up, and they’re walkin' right through me, wish they knew me
Both Where are all, where are all the lonely ghosts tonight, we’re looking out Where are all, where are all the lonely ghosts tonight, we’re calling ya
Mich Maybe it’s not them, maybe it’s me who needs to change I could add some flare, do my hair, but still their attention is seemingly else where
Claire I know I haunted them, and maybe I’m not a good pet or are reliable friend, but I wish to amend and I’ve got a big ghost heart, I wish they could see it, but I’m dreamin’
Both Where are all, where are all the lonely ghosts tonight, we’re looking out Where are all, where are all the lonely ghosts tonight, we’re calling ya
Where are all, where are all the lonely ghosts tonight, we’re looking out Where are all, where are all the lonely ghosts tonight, we’re calling ya
Little ghosts come out of the shadows Little ghosts you’re not alone anymore Little ghosts come out of the shadows Little ghosts you’re not the only ones

I’ve been such a mess A certified wreck The devil in my head Has a ready servant
You’ve been more than I deserve Your light offering an easy cure
Let me in, let me love Let me be there you say I’m sorry baby
I don’t wanna see you Don’t wanna be healing that way It’s so unfair to your heart And I’m scared of myself
Venom in my words Foul intentions I wanna hurt me so I hurt you And that’s my backwards truth
But nobody ever matters more And my devil knows so before She poisons your soul, just go
Let me in, let me love Let me be there you say I’m sorry baby
I don’t wanna see you Don’t wanna be healing that way It’s so unfair to your heart And I’m scared of myself
Because I’m destructive, I’m toxic I’m obsessive, I can’t let you in right now Gotta pull myself out
Won’t accept that easy cure Don’t offer any more I know you mean so well but listen
I’ll need withdrawal, just to relearn How to be more than tears and dark thoughts again This is not who I am
Let me in, let me love Let me in, let me love
Let me in, let me love Let me be there you say I’m sorry baby
I don’t wanna see you Don’t wanna be healing that way Let me in, let me love Let me help

Hey S'MORES (the people who read my Show More descriptions)!
Boy was this a fun music video to shoot! Not so easy on my legs with that flying harness but sometimes art is pain bahaha. What else could you do for such a theatrical song but something theatrical?! That was the question my director and I asked ourselves before I remembered how much I used fly towers in musical theatre productions as a kid. Alas, the crazy idea was born.
Hope you enjoyed it and keep your eyes peeled for all of me and Claire Corlett's Halloweek 2021 videos coming up!

LYRICS: A door was shut, the keys were "lost", you screamed And so began the saga titled: Sympathy The lights are off, you're scared, why hide the switch then ‘Cause that's the trick, the door was locked by one of us, guess who
You're cryin’ "I'm all alone, there's not a living soul who cares now" But I am just down the hall of this haunted house and you love that I can't give up on you, despite the harm you do A friend is not this worthless
Must be a ghost, hung in your puppet show Sewn at the mouth, role of invisible Illusions get attention, house is growing We're all trophies in her innocent collection
You sell, we buy, the walls reek with your persuasion You're in distress, for best actress the Oscar goes to you
Still cryin’ "I'm all alone, I need a living soul to care now" When we are just down the hall of this haunted house, had always thought Maybe her demons are fake, monsters of makeup and paint That decorate a sweet nightmare
Must be a ghost (what do you need of me when you’re never seein’ me) Hung in your puppet show (tangled up in your ties, immobilized) Sewn at the mouth (what do you need of me, why you never seein’ me) Role of invisible (you’ve written every line and got ‘em memorized) You’re always craving fresh blood, house keeps growing
Quite a shame though, isn't it She has more skulls and dolls than humans to have conversations with Don't pity us, oh no, we pity her You know we really cared Remember why we walked in here Why’d she have to lock us here
Now we’re just ghosts, dead in her puppet show Well say goodbye to control, you’ve lit all of the matches Home of poison and I’m gonna burn it to ashes
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait... The door was never locked, of course Guess I’ll just go then I’ll miss you

LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED Words & music by: Michelle Creber (SOCAN)
Letters and cards, remnants of An era that I failed to hide from myself Buried inside, boxes on my Old bed I find every now and then to cry
Thought I’d let go, thought I’d moved on But I’m mourning, more than I can handle It’s been so long, but it’s still hard To accept that I can’t have you in my life
Better lock this up in a song Like it never really happened at all Like it never really happened at all Like it never really happened at all
Photos of us, well they go back for miles and miles and miles and Love and laughter was all that they captured and now I’m panicked What happened Wanna revise this, can I rewrite us
Thought I’d let go, thought I’d moved on But I’m mourning, more than I can handle It’s been so long but it’s still hard To accept that I can’t have you in my life Better lock this up in a song
Should’ve burned this box when I had the chance When my anger hadn’t turned into sadness yet Well I was sure this was for the best And I guess it still is, I’m just having a relapse A moment of regret
Thought I’d let go, thought I’d moved on But I miss you, in truth I hope you miss me too
Thought I’d let go, thought I’d moved on But I’m mourning, more than I can handle It’s been so long but it’s still hard To accept that I can’t have you in my life
Better lock this up in a song ‘Cause to fess up now would be wrong I’ll put the box back where it belongs Like it never really happened at all

So thrilled to be sharing this music video with you all. Like It Never Happened is one of my personal favourites off of the Storm album and the song has always meant a great deal to me.
My director and I wanted this video to be an open canvas onto which anyone can paint their own individual interpretations. If you'd like to share your perspective on the story, we'd love to hear it. Hint: there are no wrong answers ;)

Feels Like Summer Written by: Arun Chaturvedi, Michelle Creber, Luke McMaster & Christopher Ward
Part of me says that you’re the one Little voice says wait and see But your touch, your touch is like the summer sun And the heat’s comin’ over me
Blue skies are all I see As long as it’s you, lying next to me
Cause it feels like summer every day of the year And my heart’s in bloom every time you’re near And it feels like summer every time that we kiss
Hope it lasts forever Cause it feels like summer It feels like summer
Sometimes I wonder what’s going on This thing that you’re doing to me Your smile, your smile is like the summer breeze Your love is like a melody
Blue skies are all I see As long as it’s you, lying next to me
Cause it feels like summer every day of the year And my heart’s in bloom every time you’re near And it feels like summer every time that we kiss
Hope it lasts forever Cause it feels like summer It feels like summer It feels like summer It feels like summer
It’s heavenly when you’re close to me Perfection as far as I can see Can’t help but wonder if we’ll still be lovers Then today is gonna turn into an endless summer

An actual music video?!?! With actual PEOPLE in it again?!?! What a concept eh! It was an absolute joy to get a good crew of people together for this video. As Canada paves ahead with great vaccine numbers, our restrictions are lifting left and right in B.C. and bit by bit, life is finally coming back to us :) I love this video because even though it's about the perfect summer's day, it also represents the joy of reuniting with my friends and family again!
Hope this video brings a bit more colour and brightness to your day, and that you have an incredible rest of your summer!

Hey S'MORES (the peeps who read my Show More descriptions)!
I'm thrilled to be sharing this new summer song with you all! Feels Like Summer is a co-write between me, Christopher Ward, Luke McMaster & Arun Chaturvedi and it has been an absolute joy and honour to collaborate with them. The whole team put hard work into this production and we are so pleased with the end result.
The only downside is everything had to be done remotely! I'm proud to say that I engineered all my own vocals at home in the new studio I created. It was a learning curve that involved layers and layers of doubles and harmonies (my Logic file has over 100 vocal recording tracks in it!) but all very worth it.

MY CITY Words & music by: Michelle Creber & Benjamin Millman (SOCAN)
On my flight across the world tonight Just lost touch with the ground Goodbye mountain air and ocean lights Everybody’s sleepin’ by now
Cause there’s nothin’ to do at 11:02 But to look at the view, man what a view I love that it’s home And it won’t be long til I return
My city, inside of paradise I’m livin’ These miles well they just keep on givin’ My soul will never leave the city, my city
New York is all electric vibes Paris drippin’ with style Berlin is nice, been to Monaco twice And Shanghai five times
Maybe someday I’ll move to LA Cause I like a faster pace, yeah But it won’t be the same And the longer I stay, I’ll miss the rain
My city, inside of paradise I’m livin’ These miles well they just keep on givin’ My soul will never leave the city, my city
City, if you don’t believe me when I’m singin’ Come see the view from where I’m sittin’ You’ll never wanna leave the city, my city
My city, inside of paradise I’m livin’ These miles well they just keep on givin’ My soul will never leave the city, my city
City, if you don’t believe me when I’m singin’ Come see the view from where I’m sittin’ We’ll never wanna leave the city, my city

Man oh man, it's finally out! Almost two years after the song was initially written! Can’t tell you how good it feels to finally be sharing it with you all :) Please, feel FREE to blast this groovy-ness at full volume in your car driving through YOUR city, dance to it with your friends, when you can safely be with your friends again, and just overall, I hope it brings some more fun and positivity into your day :)
Life has been a complete blur for the past couple months but I’m keeping my head high knowing I’ll get to be reunited with the people I care about soon.

TWO SHIPS Words & music by: Michelle Creber (SOCAN)
Two ships pass in a harbor Two leaves brush in the wind Fate’s in play for a moment Then that moment ends
Lonely hearts on the sidewalk Longing souls in the park Walking just past each other So close, so far
It’s the distance of inches And it’s the difference of love and loneliness Our existence is bound by these forces
But if you’re lucky, stars may align If you’re lucky, two ships may collide
A pair of shooting stars in the cosmos One due East, and one West Crossing paths for a second Then that second ends
It’s the distance of inches And it’s the difference of love and loneliness Our existence is bound by these fickle forces
But if you’re lucky, stars may align If you’re lucky, two ships may collide
No one can follow The invisible And there’s no fighting fate You know it’s inevitable
We have choice, but we are limited At least the possibilities are infinite
It’s the distance of inches And it’s the difference of love and loneliness Our existence is bound by these fickle forces
But if you’re lucky, stars may align If you’re lucky, two ships may collide

Hey S'MORES (the peeps who read my Show More section)
Hope everyone has been having a good 2021 so far :) As good as your 2021 can be haha. I'm very happy to be sharing this song with you all. Two Ships was a quick pen but a meaningful one and it felt appropriate to release near Valentine's Day. Whether you interpret the lyrics in a romantic way or a platonic way, this song is about the complexity of human connection (something we are sadly lacking in this covid era). I really, really miss people, and Two Ships helps me feel more connected to all the souls I deeply care about in this world.
Feel free to share this with a loved one and let Valentine's Day be a reminder of all the important people in YOUR life, - Love MichTHIS YEAR (a farewell song to 2020) - Michelle CreberMichelle Creber2020-12-31 | Written, recorded, produced & filmed yesterday (December 30th) "THIS YEAR" was a last-minute song idea that I really wanted to share with everyone today as we say goodbye to 2020. Hope you enjoy, and yes, I'm completely serious, this song did not exist until 4:00pm yesterday afternoon XD
THIS YEAR Written by: Michelle Creber Piano by: Michelle & Michael Creber
I feel so lost right now Am I the only one?
I feel so numb, so done Please say everyone does
I’m holding the faith That when it’s all said and done We’ll look back and laugh At what a year this was
So if you feel lost right now You’re not the only one
When you feel numb, so done Remember that everyone does
But I’m holding the faith That when this is all said and done We’ll look back and laugh At what a sh*tty year this was
Maybe we’ll smile at the memory But how can we smile through the misery? This is history
But we can survive We can be kinder to ourselves And everyone else
If you feel lost right now You’re not the only
When you feel numb, so done Please know that everyone does
But I'm holding on faith that when it's all said and done We’ll look back and laugh We’ll look back and smile We’ll look back and laugh at what a year this wasCreber Christmas Concert (2020) - Michelle, Monique & MichaelMichelle Creber2020-12-20 | This video was a livestreamed concert from Dec 19, 2020 A Creber Christmas Vol 2 now available: creberbrown.com/collections/new/products/creber-christmas-vol-2 Click SHOW MORE for all the links!

LET THIS CHRISTMAS Written by: Michelle Creber Additional writing by: Robert Messier
Let the morning sun seep through my window sill where garland’s hung Let the morning bells echo through every town and every home Let the light reflect off every icicle and gentle snowflake Let the world feel peaceful for a moment, this year weighs so heavy
Let this Christmas bring out the best in us Let this Christmas bring us a brand new start Let this Christmas bring our hope back
Hard to see it now so close your eyes, get lost in imagination Try to feel the candle lights, the warming blankets just melting off ice Hear the children harmonizing, wood sleds sliding and crackling fire Smell the pine trees, gingerbread treats, peppermints, all the old traditions
Let this Christmas bring out the best in us Let this Christmas bring us a brand new start Let this Christmas bring our hope back
Let this Christmas bring out the best in us Let this Christmas bring us our brand new start Let this Christmas bring out the best in love Let this Christmas bring our hope back
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas And Happy New Year
Let the snow fall, let this bring all Hope, and joy, and a new beginning

Can't believe it's already almost December! Can't say I'm complaining either XD Christmas is my favourite time of year and although everything will look different in 2020, there is still so much to celebrate and be thankful for. I hope this song inspires you to stay inspired, stay hopeful and to spread even more holiday kindness in the coming weeks, the world really needs it.

FALSE EMPIRE Words & music by: Michelle Creber (SOCAN)
Mindless, weak and small Mercenary fraud Broke all moral laws To earn reward for bad behavior
Well honey you better learn your lies, lie lie lies Been ruling a false empire, lie lie liar Lie lie liar, lie lie la dee dah...
Fueled by fear and crime Checkers in chess by hopping the mess And working the ladder by stepping on any head Power is divine Spoil the rich, ignoring the poor I pity the soul who’d remain in defense of you Stole yourself a mound of riches, buy yourself a heart
Well honey you better learn your lies, lie lie lies You’ve been ruling a false empire, lie lie liar And when you gotta testify There’ll be no alibis To get you through this fire Lie lie liar, lie lie liar Lie lie la dee dah...
You’re gonna hear a knock knock knock on your golden doors And then a stomp, stomp on your marble floors We’re gonna find the rebels, find find the rebels Then we’ll fight together, fight fight together
‘Cause you know revolution is a given here You thought that we’re gonna take this We’re gonna make this easy for you to walk all over us No we’re the rebels, we’re we’re the rebels And we’ll fight together, fight fight together When you are on your own
Well honey you better learn your lies, lie lies You’ve been ruling a false empire, lie lie liar And when you gotta testify There’ll be no alibis And we’ll set your words on fire Lie lie liar

Hey S'MORES (the peeps who read my Show More section)
So excited to be sharing this video with you all! I have been looking forward to filming a music video for False Empire since I first wrote it :D Very happy with the 80s rock concert/video look we were able to achieve despite, of course, continued restrictions & complications due to COVID.
I have always felt that my lyrics (and anyone’s lyrics) should speak for themselves, and that it may hinder a listener's experience to divulge specific whos, whats, wheres, whens & whys. But with False Empire, it is probably quite obvious to the majority of you exactly WHO I am referring to in this song. Selfish, greedy, reckless, ignorant, moral-less people in power. LIARS in power. My US friends, PLEASE vote, and vote wisely. We Canadians care very deeply about you and the outcome of your election. Make sure you have a plan to vote. Make sure your parents have a plan to vote, that your friends have a plan to vote, that everybody in your circle has a plan to vote. There is so much at stake. Sending nothing but positive thoughts your way in the coming weeks but regardless of the outcome, good will always prevail over evil and truth will always prevail over deception...eventually.
Until I can perform this song for you LIVE in person one day, I hope this video will suffice :)))
Lots of love, Mich

I BUILT YOU A SANDCASTLE Words & music by: Michelle Creber (SOCAN)
I built you a sandcastle One night in July It might have been summer then But unlike the skies, you had lost your light and
I wanted to fix things Find some kind of structure Clouded eyes, you sat there as I gathered the sand Then that wave washed it back
I made you a paper airplane Claimed I was the pilot That I could fly you anywhere But you were so damn scared You tied yourself to the runway A speckle on the concrete and
I wanted to fix things Find what you were missing Clouded eyes, you sat there as I flew out of sight Still waiting on my descent
What happened Where did you go My old friend I’m on the lookout But I’m not sure If there’s anything more I can do
I thought I could fix things Find something that’d lift you I tried but you never really wanted to change
I made you a paper airplane You chose to stay I built you a sandcastle It washed away

Hey S'MORES (the peeps who read my Show More section)!
Hope everyone enjoyed the music video! Nice to finally film an official production since the beginning of COVID. There were only 4 of us on location and aside from when I had to do my takes, we were all wearing masks in a nice big open warehouse. Of course, lots of hand sanitizer and no gear sharing as well!
FUN CONTEST: If you want to win a paper airplane that I folded in this video, just comment #PaperAirplane and your favorite lyric line from the song below! We'll write down all the names that commented and draw the winner later this week! I will personalize the airplane and send it to you wherever you are in the world! :)

CROSSROADS Words & music by: Michelle Creber (SOCAN)
Send me off, I leave come morning I’m going beyond our forest There’s a pot of gold somewhere I know it
Through the hills I go forth solo To return the village hero Miles along I’m met with my first obstacle
I’m at a loss Compass broken I’m at a crossroads Now everything’s uncertain
Wary of the path not chosen Right or left, I’m left here frozen Searching for my instincts And spare courage
But I’m at a loss Compass broken I’m at a crossroads And everything’s uncertain
Don’t you dare go running back home An empty handed, hollow hero Just make your next move
I’m at a loss Compass broken I’m at a crossroads And suddenly it’s all so clear
No right or wrong Only learning I’m at a crossroads And every step will take me closer I’ll return soon

Hey S'MORES (the amazing peeps who read my Show More section)!
Hope you guys enjoyed this new quarantine style video for Crossroads :) There has been so much going on this year, and there is so much uncertainty that this is the only song off Storm I even want to sing sometimes. Crossroads was added last minute to the album because it felt like a perfect fit suddenly and I am so glad it made it on. All of our paths feel uncertain in 2020 but they will reveal themselves with time...and hey, if we go down the wrong path, we learn something & we try again!!

Hey S’MORES (the awesome peeps who read my Show More sections)
Long time no talk! I hope everyone is staying safe, staying mentally healthy & staying engaged with the very important conversations/movements happening in society right now. Life has been overwhelming lately and sometimes, I know the world just feels impossible to understand/conquer but all we can do is push forward and challenge ourselves to be better as individuals and better as a species. That’s all we can ever do. After an extremely intense work year with releasing Storm & other endeavours, I made sure to take some time over the past few months to just enjoy life a little bit. I have been spending lots of time with my family here in B.C. and soaking up the oddly hot Vancouver weather! It has been a great reset and now I’m revving back up again as the end of summer approaches... Lots to come!
Releasing an album during quarantine was certainly an odd & challenging experience but you guys really made it worthwhile. Thank you, thank you, thank you again for all of your continued support!
Can’t wait to see you IN PERSON again someday! - Love Mich

Hey S’MORES (the awesome "Show More" readers)
I hope everybody has been listening and learning this week. The past few days have been a wake-up call for me. Not because I wasn’t aware of the injustices before, not because I haven’t been angry my entire life for other people about this, not because I have always been searching for ways to help, but because I always thought it wasn't my place to say anything. In fact, in conversation with friends and family and colleagues and teachers, I would often find myself justifying speaking out about racial inequalities, based on my own experiences of inequality. Realizing now that that seriously does not matter. You don’t have to justify standing up for what’s right. There is a respectful way to stand up for others' pain, even if it could never be yours. Everybody needs to unite on this.
Let’s listen and learn, be kind to one another, and use our visible privilege to support productive change.

I have some exciting news about the Storm album that I will be announcing soon....hehehehehe
But in the meantime, we are working hard to send out Storm orders with the extreme challenge of not being able to cross the border to our warehouse in Blaine, WA and dealing with a dozen covid related delays. I will also probably be doing a new Saturday live-stream concert next weekend!

LIKE IT NEVER HAPPENED Words & music by: Michelle Creber (SOCAN)
Letters and cards Remnants of An era that I Failed to hide from myself
Buried inside Boxes on my Old bed I find Every now and then to cry
Thought I’d let go Thought I’d moved on But I’m mourning, more than I can handle
It’s been so long But it’s still hard To accept that I can’t Have you in my life
Better lock this up in a song Like it never really happened at all Like it never really happened at all Like it never really happened at all
Photos of us Well they go back for miles and miles and miles and Love and laughter was all that they captured And now I’m panicked, what happened
Wanna revise this Can I rewrite us
Thought I’d let go Thought I’d moved on But I’m mourning, more than I can handle
It’s been so long But it’s still hard To accept that I can’t Have you in my life
Better lock this up in a song
Should’ve burned this box when I had the chance When my anger hadn’t turned into sadness yet
Well I was sure this was for the best And I guess it still is I’m just having a relapse A moment of regret
Thought I’d let go Thought I’d moved on But I miss you, in truth I hope you miss me too
Thought I’d let go Thought I’d moved on But I’m mourning, more than I can handle
It’s been so long But it’s still hard To accept that I can’t Have you in my life
Better lock this up in a song ‘Cause to fess up now would be wrong I’ll put the box back where it belongs Like it never really happened at all

Hey S’MORES! (the awesome soybeans who read my Show More sections)
Hope you guys enjoyed this quarantine style music video!! I actually kind of loved how it turned out, super simple but effective. Aren’t these dancers just incredible too?!?!
So, after almost a week of delays, the “Like It Never Happened” single finally came out on Spotify and iTunes/AppleMusic a couple of days ago!! Links here: https://linktr.ee/michellecreber
Also, wow, cannot believe the Storm album is coming out in 5 days :O I am superrr excited for you guys to hear all the songs!!! I recommend listening from top to bottom because it is a borderline concept album that is designed to be a journey. That sounds pretentious. Let’s just say that the themes tie into each other well and the track order flows nicely haha. You can pre-order Storm now on Apple Music and Bandcamp, wooooot!
Keep on posting with the hashtag #creativequarantine

Hey S'MORES (the peeps who read my Show More section)!
Man, it's been such a crazy busy week XD So much has been happening every single day and I am just sprinting to keep up with it all but I hope you guys enjoyed this very random vlog! I crack myself up...probably a little too much bahaha. Due to a HIGH volume of artists submitting music right now, there is a delay in getting Like It Never Happened up on iTunes & Spotify. Should be up there by tomorrow or Sunday though. In the meantime, it's available on my store and Bandcamp!
Let me know what you think of the song in the comments and stay tuned for the music video next Friday :)

CARRY ON Words & music by: Michelle Creber (SOCAN)
Why don’t I give in Why don’t I give up You wonder, would anyone notice
What do I live for What do I have now to show my worth You get so low there friend
Carry on, baby you are loved When you wanna fall Just stay strong Cause hope is never far gone
What if we gave in What if we gave up before the miracles Tables turn ya know
You may in live vain You may suffer every single day But there is a choice to make
Carry on, baby you are loved When you wanna fall Just stay strong Cause hope is never far gone
We have heart, we have mind We have soul and there is time There is death, but you are life
Please carry on I know you are strong When you wanna fall Remember who you’ve loved Cause they will miss you if you’re gone

Therefore, I have decided to try and do a live-stream concert every Saturday now this month if you guys are down! :) Except to make it easier for people to join, I am going to be switching to Youtube as my platform! I also had a professional live-stream concert tech guy consult me over Skype to improve my setup. So yeah! Hope you enjoyed the Carry On lyric video :) Just wanted to give people an opportunity to reconnect with this song because it will be on Storm and because I know this is going to be a really tough time mentally for everyone.

Can't wait to see you guys on Saturday night! Or well, see your words and your little Twitch icons...basically the same thing as human interaction, right? Maybe the Lara Bars are getting to my brain... also yeah ironically I have not eaten macaroni in like 2 years bahaha

FALSE EMPIRE Words & music by: Michelle Creber (SOCAN)
Mindless, weak and small Mercenary fraud Broke all moral laws To earn reward for bad behavior
Well honey you better learn your lies, lie lie lies Been rulin’ a false empire, lie lie liar Lie lie liar, lie liar
Fueled by fear and crime (Checkers in chess by hopping the mess and workin’ the ladder by stepping on any head) Power is divine (Spoil the rich, ignoring the poor, I pity the soul who’d remain in defense of you) Stole yourself a mound of riches, buy yourself a heart
Well honey you better learn your lies, lie lie lies You been rulin’ a false empire, lie lie liar And when you gotta testify Well there’ll be no alibis To get you through this fire Lie lie liar, lie lie liar, lie liar
You’re gonna hear a knock knock knock on your golden doors And then a stomp stomp on your marble floors We’re gonna find the rebels, find find the rebels Then we’ll fight together, fight fight together
Cause you know revolution is given here You thought that we’re gonna take this we’re gonna make this easy for you to walk all over us No we’re the rebels, we’re we’re the rebels and we’ll fight together Fight fight together when you are on your own
Well honey you better learn your lies, lie lie lies Been rulin’ a false empire, lie lie liar And when you gotta testify Well there’ll be no alibis And we’ll set your words on fire Lie lie liar

I know it's a very weird time right now. There's a lot of fear and uncertainty and misinformation and anxiety so let's try to stay calm, be responsible and lift one another! My Patreon team and I usually do two projects every month (a music video/lyric video and then an original song) but this month, all of our funding is going towards a few select charities that are helping to aid relief during this outbreak. We can also all do our part by just staying at home and protecting those who are most vulnerable.
Please let me know in the comments what you guys would be interested in doing regarding online-classes and if you would be down for weekly live-streamed concerts! Also, very excited for you guys to hear False Empire next Friday :)

STORM Words & music by: Michelle Creber (SOCAN)
Guess what, I'm done with you And your psychopathic, idiotic attitude Get lost, you won't be missed It's beyond impossible for us to coexist
Man I used to have respect for you, I used to think the best of you And maybe I'm the reason that you're so worked up But I can't afford to deal with this And if you're not gonna leave then Imma lose my grip
Say my senses have gone hazy Do you own a mirror, crazy
Now what's your cause, what's your gain When you come rainin’ over my parade The forecast here was sunny and clear Before you whirled in like a hurricane
God you're so temperamental, though I'm sentimental It feels like I'll never wanna see you again So take your stormy weather, to somebody else To somebody else, to somebody else, to somebody else
Guess what, I'm happy now But you’re swimming in denial cause you don't like how I'm rid of all your chains I praise that I unlocked them every single day
Man I used to really look up to you, I'll wish the best of luck to you With no complaining, understating all my hate But last thing, gotta say, I'm quite impressed with How good you got at turning ordered minds into mess
You had such control over me Watch as I let go entirely
Now what's your cause, what's your gain When you come rainin’ over my parade The forecast here was sunny and clear Before you whirled in like a hurricane
God you're so temperamental, though I'm sentimental It feels like I'll never wanna see you again So take your stormy weather, to somebody else To somebody else, to somebody else, to somebody else
(INSTRUMENTAL BREAK)
It's sad how much irony is laced in the fabric of all results you face Panicking and acting on the fear of losing me, was the very thing that made it be
So what was your cause, and what was your gain When you came rainin’ over my parade The forecast here was sunny and clear Before you whirled in like a hurricane
You were so temperamental, though I'm sentimental It feels like I'll never wanna see you again So take your stormy weather, to somebody else
So what was your cause, and what was your gain When you came rainin’ over my parade The forecast here was sunny and clear Before you whirled in like a hurricane
You were so temperamental, though I'm sentimental It feels like I'll never wanna see you again So take your stormy weather, to somebody else To somebody else, to somebody else, to somebody else

Monique Creber has released a beautiful cover of the Carpenters' classic, "Merry Christmas Darling". The song was recorded in Nashville with producer Fred Mollin and a group of top session musicians, featuring Lonnie Wilson (drums), Pat Coil (keyboards), Kerry Marx (electric guitars), John D Willis (acoustic guitars), Larry Paxton (bass) and Michelle Creber (background vocals). The band takes a fresh approach to the instrumental arrangement as they accompany Monique's rich vocals, described as “eerily similar to that of the late, great Karen Carpenter” (The Province).

LYRICS:
Way back to the day I was born Only ever ate candy corn The doctor thought I was terminal But it turns out I was seasonal
Screw hearts and Easter eggs Christmas time, I ran away Something about the spookiness, I was in my bliss And my only true love was the 31st
Fast forward to grade school When every single kid was tryin to be cool I was showin up in costume Every single day, so true
Monday - clown, Tuesday - cow Wednesday, Thursday Friday - meow I could be a person, place or thing Or any kind of noun, let’s sing
Every day is Halloween, if you believe Everything is Halloween, why you can’t you see It’s Halloween
High school, seventeen Went on my first date, dressed as a queen She asked what topping I wanted on my pizza All I could do was think about tricks or treats, yuh!
University, guess how I got my degree Full time perusing my Halloween-nee-nee-nee dreams Spreadin the goodness of cheer, all throughtout the year Come on you know what I wanna hear
Every day is Halloween, if you believe Everything is Halloween, why you can’t you see Everyday is Halloween, cause I believe You say I need therapy But it’s a part of me I AM halloween
The Easter bunny is just a pumpkin in disguise Yup, and the tooth fairy, obviously a vampire Santa, don’t get me started on Santa I wasn’t going to! You know how I feel about Santa No no no, you know how I feel about Santa Santa can go f himself cause the nightmare before Christmas is the only movie I’ll watch! Yeah…yeah same
Every day is Halloween, if you believe Everything is Halloween, why you can’t you see Everyday is Halloween, cause I believe You say I need therapy But it’s a part of me I AM Halloween
Every day is Halloween, if you believe Everything is Halloween, why you can’t you see Everyday is Halloween, cause I believe They say I need therapy But it’s a part of me I AM Halloween
