Today we hear from none other than Managing Director of the White Star Line and surviving first-class passenger, J. Bruce Ismay, as he relays his experiences from Titanic's conception to the night of the sinking. Stay tuned for PART TWO when Ismay recounts the collision, sinking and rescue.

NOTICE:
I mention "300 feet of damage" around the 24min mark. This is an often repeated number but I should have specified that it's not one continuous opening but likely a series of small openings spread out along 300 feet of the ship.
