Space Symphony II - Songs Of An Astronaut
An epic space saga covering multiple themes including interstellar travel, computers, aliens, robots,
cloning, suspended animation, prison worlds and space shanty's.
Told over 13 songs (Plus three instrumentals) with narration in-between, this very British album appears to be
the labour of love of one as yet unknown individual.
There's no denying the passion this man had for his subject and he appears to have mined every sound he could
from the synthesisers available to him. For fans of synthpop there is much to enjoy here.
By listening to the lyrics and the instrumentation used, the album was likely recorded between 1985 and 1990.
The speaking voice of the narrator sounds like he was in his 30's or 40's. Now if we take 1985 as a potential
recording date 40 years back, this would put our man in his 70's or 80's.
The box had a printed title and track-list but no artist or composer information was present.
Can anyone shine a light on this?
Discovered in 2015 on two reel to reel tapes and digitally transferred to P.C, these songs now live
on in a YouTube Playlist.

Who is this?
11 years on from the original post, now in 2026 I'm still none the wiser.
However I thought it would be interesting to hear these 'lost' recordings
re-imagined through the lens of A.I using modern recording techniques.
