A brilliant, frustrating, addictive and fun game!
You can see that I didn't understand what I needed to do initially.
Nor how to use the gun to end a turn quickly.
How does the scoring work?
I was near the end when I discovered the high score table of the previous puzzle was displayed behind me in the joining tunnel!
There were quite a few times when I nearly gave up as the puzzles seemed unsolvable.
Or throwing items was difficult!
Or my accuracy of the gun was off.
Or the battery would not go in the charger.
And those dials were annoying!
But the draw of it made me return over and over.
The new mechanisms atthe start of each area took some time to get used to.
But I couldn't stop playing.
It took weeks to complete.
This is a full breakdown of me playing.
Frustratingly, it includes some issues when sequences do not repeat correctly.
Does the high score table work correctly? I got a 5th place on 'Handle With Care' but the previous one was still there. On 'Targeting Priority' the first three say 'i' and there are two 4th places.
Thanks to the dev for a key.

This could be good if the controls were easier to understand and access.
I spent most of the time randomly pressing buttons.
Some missions didn't make sense. There was nothing there. Do you have to find the enemy? I flew around aimlessly looking before giving up.
How do you upgrade the weapons?
Or use the laser?
It was too complicated.
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/i-am-gorilla-fun-dash/31112099521736814
I like the cartoon style look.
And the courses are challenging but not impossible.
It makes you want to keep coming back (even when my arms were aching).
When it went black for a moment I didn't realise I had moved from my playing position. It might be worth adding some on-screen comment to return to the play area?
I did also think that the boxing gloves hit me when they were retracting?
Where are the global high scores? That will make players return.
Still a great game and lots of fun.
I can see scope for more levels.
Thanks to the dev for a code!
https://www.oktoberfest.game
I did get a pet the first time I played but it seems to have vanished later on!
The new rides were fun.
It looks like more is promised but I'm not sure if that is this month or for next year.
retr0se.itch.io/room-tone
An interesting idea.
I wasn't sure what I was trying to achieve (but I kept going).
The ending was a bit sudden.
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/liminality/7513698328690251
Not much to do but the levels look interesting.
It was fun until I got stuck in a hole (after the previous one lead to the next level).
wispswillows.itch.io/rogue-resort-vr
I like the idea.
But it wasn't obvious what to do and grabbing objects was temperamental.
There is no sound apart from the odd shot which made it a bit dull.
Did I complete the game and it restart or was I killed? I wasn't sure.
bernat-el-ferrer.itch.io/malevolent-kitchen
It looks nice enough.
But I couldn't even complete the tutorial.
store.steampowered.com/app/3826860/There_Exists/?curator_clanid=45774633
I'm not sure I got this working correctly.
It felt like the characters wanted to say more but I couldn't make them.
As a result, the story didn't make much sense.
At the end I suddenly had an out of body experience and fell off the world!
store.steampowered.com/app/528580/Found/?curator_clanid=45774633
A nice but short experience.
I did like how the rain fell on my hands.
store.steampowered.com/app/682960/Purgation
This is quite an old game so the look and feel is dated now.
I wasn't sure what I needed to do and spent too long in some rooms that didn;t do much looking for a way out.
The guy was quite scary but easy to avoid (when you knew to do it). You do hear a whisper of 'hide' which I liked.
Then it ended!
Very short.
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/off-track-vr/29249003638032341
Still in early access so lots of issues - steering, difficult to stay on track, knowing which way to go, falling off the world.
This could be good in multiplayer mode but is not very exciting as a single player game.
store.steampowered.com/app/3749350/Heavy_Burden_VR/?curator_clanid=45774633
Hopefully a full version will contain an explanation of the controls.
I did get stuck at one point until I realised you can press the trigger when pointing at the floating blocks to make them move.
And pressing the stick makes you run and thus avoid the moving columns.
Apart from holding the ball quite high so it does not break the glass walkways, the routes are quite simple.
I'm not sure why there are 'words of wisom' above the fire at the end of each level.
store.steampowered.com/app/2982500/Taquero_Simulator
There was a lot of guesswork involved playing this.
Consequently I didn't get far.
It was difficult to put the plate and ingredients down and customer were not satified with what I gave them (despite there not being anything else).
store.steampowered.com/app/495030/VR_Battle_Grid
Basic looking but it does a great job of recreating 'Battleships' in VR.
I did like the missiles.
The AI opponent needed some work. It seemed to be making poor selections.
But it is an old game.
psychicparrot.itch.io/hypersheep-eats-all-the-biscuits
A fun game but I didn;t know what was going on.
I tried getting the biscuits but the score didn't improve.
I did like the 'inverse' game. Much more fun. Although I didn't know what that was about either.
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/death-flags-demo/8629130407210466
or
store.steampowered.com/app/3968470/Death_Flags_The_Beginning_of_the_End__Chapter_I
This is great looking.
I like the way you can choose different paths through the level.
The intro is only shown once but after being shot and the game ending, I thought that was it for the demo! Luckily I tried again to find that you can play the first level repeatedly (and I stiched my attempts together).
It is early access so there are some annoyances.
My main one is reloading the gun. I would like to reload at any time by putting the gun into the holster.
I also didn't like how the screen would display in the same place rather than in front of your current position. You had to look around to find the continue target (or the end screen).
The game does keep playing after you have failed?
I think the finesse of the gun could be improved. You do need to be quite accurate (and hit the target a number of times).
The enemy could also stand out a bit more or make more sound when they creep up on you from all sides.
Often the dropped items were difficult to collect.
Maybe check the spelling of 'Doble Kill'?
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/disc/9796932137025973
Great looking and fun.
Make sure you have enough room.
Updates are promised so that may fix the parts where it didn't work.
EXPLORE LIKE NEVER BEFORE: Run, jump, climb, skate, and fly through seamless space stations with up to 75 players, packed with activities.
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/orion-drift/7181769438517329
Although it looks great, play started badly.
Controlling movement (specifically stopping) needed some practise.
I wasn't sure what I needed to do in some games and other were already full.
The layout was confusing with multiple levels.
Having found a terminal that tells you your tasks for the day, you then wonder where they are to be found!
I randomly wondered where the outer paths went and luckily followed them to find the other parts of the game.
It is early acces so some are not ready but others are fun.
The 'golf' game could do with numbering the holes!
And the 'parkour' one didn't have a display of your completion time?
store.steampowered.com/app/454140/First_Person_Tennis__The_Real_Tennis_Simulator
or
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/first-person-tennis-the-real-tennis-simulator/6119989094742166
I think I have gotten used to more recent tennis games so I found this quite dated.
Serving is difficult so I often resorted to underarm.
Hitting the returned balls is erratic too.
After 30 minutes I had not won a single game and I gave up.
It probably is like real tennix. In that I'm not good at that either!
I did like the option to manually run or use automatic (although I found it difficult to position myself correctly using the manual option).
store.steampowered.com/app/3618790/Only_DWARVES_DIG_Proper_HOLES
The idea was good but it is just digging, digging and more digging!
Was I doing it right?
Going back and forth to unload your items and get more beer became monotonous.
You need far too much coin in order to purchase any useful items.
I thought I would find some entrance to the mine when digging but no.
At one point I got stuck in the digging machine (which I thought would start up when I purchased the 'easy dig' perk) but I managed to get away by physically moving.
I didn't like how items that you had picked up but didn't fit in the backpack simply disappeared.
There is no punishment for dying. You just restart where you left off. I thought you would at least return to where the game was last saved.
Can you say 'dwarf' these days?
store.steampowered.com/app/3219540/Hidden_Breed
Quite simplistic.
I found the disc throwing was inaccurate and eventually used them like yo-yos to kill anything near me.
The monsters were not very realistic but I did like the orange blood when limbs were severed.
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/cybrid-demo/24197122863230979
Another slash the same colours, dodge stuff and avoid being shot game.
And in neon too.
It's all been done before.
andyman404.itch.io/wiener-wobble-dog-park-xr
This is fun!
A simple idea but quite addicitive.
it is fun trying to negotiate the course using hand tracking.
I like having multiple dogs on screen.
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/golem-fight/8689281647822753
I thought I was the golem?
Sometimes the circles worked and sometimes not.
I didn't know what was going on.
It wasn't heloped by the text displaying on top of each other.
I think some sounds would be good.
Judging by the end comment, the developer is not a cockney.
store.steampowered.com/app/905180/Inevitable_VR/?curator_clanid=45774633
A set of easy puzzles.
I didn't even know it was against the clock.
glennys.itch.io/astragun
A nice looking shooter.
It took some trial and error to work out how to use the gun.
And I still can't jump (so got stuck).
It could do with better monsters and more believable sounds.
bluedonutstudios.itch.io/horror-in-the-library-vr-escape
kickstarter.com/projects/bluedonut/horror-in-the-library-escape-vr
Interesting!
There is not much to do in the demo and it doesn't give much away as to the story.
But a nice start.
The rooms look good and the monster was quite scary.
dmitriy-olw.itch.io/anomaly-rebirth
I wasn't sure what was going on.
The blood splatter wasn't central and obscured my vision.
kennymclachlan.itch.io/archeryfest-vr
A basic archery game but in a great setting.
I would have liked to be able to interact more with the people at each stall.

invisiblegamedesign.itch.io/timeranger
The first level looks great.
It is a bit easy though.
Adding a reload feature might make the game more difficult to beat?
I like the ability to one or two guns.
And having hidden health.
sidequestvr.com/app/44394/first-punch
A smooth playing game.
I liked the variety of 'punches'.
But I did get confused about the 'defending' one.
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/magnetic-me/9577590078954461
Great looking and lots of fun.
The courses can get frustrating (but I think that is the idea).
It was disappointing when you moved to the next course (because enough players had reached the finish line) before you had chance to complete the current one.
I like the uploaded courses that have been created.

A fun shooter game.
I'm still getting to grips with the map, weapons and everything else.
The bots are a bit easy to defeat.
It looked like my side was winning but suddenly it all changed.
I don't remember the tutorial telling you how the kill the opposition base.

It's great to look at but wow there is a lot to remember.
Not just your weapons but other factions you might meet, a titan you can fight and control, rune circles, shield power up stations and games while the main game is happening!
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/asphalt-fury/27960591053589220
Great looking and fun.
It does only have 3 settings (day, night and rain) so could do with more.
The cars are nice but take too long to acquire.
I do like the 4 different types of race.
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/forever-pets/29822556324056955
A great looking setting (with a changeable view).
The birds look sweet.
Day 4 and it is still doing the same tasks and games.
I've had enough.
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/forever-pets/29822556324056955
A great looking setting (with a changeable view).
The birds look sweet.
It's day 3 and I just feed the bird and play some games.
More is definitely needed!
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/forever-pets/29822556324056955
A great looking setting (with a changeable view).
The birds look sweet.
I didn't think there was enough to do.
Or at least I didn't know if there was!
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/forever-pets/29822556324056955
A great looking setting (with a changeable view).
The birds look sweet and it was fun for a while.
I didn't think there was enough to do and what there is gets annoyingly repetitive quite quickly. Yes it wants feeding and loving but that often?
After completing the day's tasks there isn't much else to keep players interested.
It is early access so things may change...

or
store.steampowered.com/app/2078200/Exer_Gale/?curator_clanid=45774633
A fun game.
I found it quite difficult to be accurate at the begining (and later).
After a few unsuccesful attempts where I was well away from the required collection count, I nearly gave up.
But eventually I got there and made it to the second (Red Mist) scene.
After this everything seemed to require you to purchase the full version.
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/2121-arcade-bullet-hell-vr/28972490142397646
Quite simplistic but very addictive.
I like the range of alien spacecraft and the bosses.
store.steampowered.com/app/2626890/Kottabos_VR/?curator_clanid=45774633
It takes a while to get to grips with.

dingoli.itch.io/snabbeldier-vr
A good looking game.
It was made in 48 hours so there are no instructions.
I did manage to complete it after much trial and error.
meta.com/en-gb/experiences/battle-warrior-archery-survival-arena/23868001389537044
It sounds good but is quite a basic fighting game.
I found it difficult to kill anything with the sword and took more damage than I gave.
The arrows ran out quickly despite me collecting lots?
It wasn't clear what the watch was telling me about the state of my health.
sidequestvr.com/app/44492/mirror
Did i miss something?
It's just a sandbox with items in?
store.steampowered.com/app/458590/ABE_VR
A short but good experience.
I like the build up and the uncertainty.
sidequestvr.com/app/44490/riddick-escape-from-butcher-bay-vr
A fun game.
It looks good.
The fighting only seemed to give damage with the left hand.
I'm not sure why I was collecting cigarette packs?
