This Elder Dragon is considered to be the Final Added monster to MH: Rise according to capcom. It is a good fight, and has some neat armor, but for an ultimate fight it is somewhat lacking. However, it's still fun and the armor is interesting, so I give it a pass.

This enemy is one of the Priest-type Ghru that are within the Demon Ruins, however, this Ghru only spawns when you interact with the Ballista. Specifically interact, and not when the ballista is off or on; thus the only way you'll see this enemy is if you run through the area and turn off the ballista and happen to run back to this room, and it's the only thing left alive. Or you might notice it if you run through entirely, but will likely miss it in the mess of things.
So even if you have set up the conditions you've likely not noticed its unique or that there is exactly one extra enemy in this area, unless you specifically have everything dead in the area. This enemy has left me confused in the past, as I thought it was just something I've missed when clearing the area. However, I've found out that it is indeed unique, you can see it clearly in the map editor (DSMapStudio by Katalash), and prove that it is indeed one of the priests.
Music: Melodic Interlude by Alexander NakaradaNightfall Mod Overview (Dark Souls 1 mod, and impressions).DistractionCrab2022-01-25 | Nightfall has dropped their silence, and released a demo for us to try out and see what we think about it. In this video I cover some of the interesting aspects of the mod, and give a taste of what the mod offers their players. The general goal for this mod appears to be a vast revamp of the game both mechanically and lore-wise. With new mechanics from deflection and sprite transformations to changing temporal based events with resetting the world, this mod has a lot of fun things to discover and test out.
Overall, I rate this mod fairly high, but some of the new mechanics don't appeal to me that much. However, I am quite curious to go in and try to figure out the mysteries of this mod. When this mod fully releases, I plan to do a full playthrough both game-wise and lore-wise, so if you want to participate in the journey, you should follow me at www.twitch.tv/distractioncrab

The new mechanical things are somewhat iffy to me, and I'm aware for one of the bosses the deflection mechanic may be intended for it, though the demo doesn't offer many situations to practice it, so haven't had many opportunities to practice it.
The new world edits look like they'll be interesting, but so far it's hard to say; Since I'm more of an exploration person, I have heavy intrigue towards this mod. The new bosses are also neat, but I only particularly enjoyed the final one. I am aware of some things I did miss, and will explore it in my spare time.
For things I'd try to improve: The quickstep mechanic. I find myself dodging in weird ways often, and this is a common issue with the quickstep designed in DS3, and it manifests itself in this mod. Though it is nice to have omni-directional dodging.
Also enjoy some ranting about Cloud gaming in the beginning; I skip ahead of things that derailed my focus a bit, but once we get past that I focus more on the mod and it becomes a much nicer experience for us all.

Dark Souls 3 has quite a few interesting ones that quite helpful, and don't involve any glitches, and have been useful for my All Enemies No-Hit run. Thus I decided to share some of them with you, on the off-chance you may not be aware of some of them.

This is a guide that is meant to show off the strategies one can use to complete the game without getting hit. As it's live, there are some bloopers, however all of the strats are "consistent" (i.e. DS consistent or 99% consistent). This guide isn't a singular "do this exact thing," and you'll be alright; it's meant to be a guide to show off how you can go about it, and you can choose what you like. If you want to just copy an exact run, follow any of my runs: Standard, Miracle-Only, Sorcery-Only, or Pyro-Only and you'll have all the strats you need. This covers all of Any% and some of All Bosses. If you're interested in the DLC work, just watch one of my All Content runs, and those are pretty much static without much variation.

Time to start up the Spook Souls season again. However, this year, I made a subgoal to make worse... far worse. So let's have some fun this year, and enjoy some spooks.
This video is almost meant to be a general showing off of this boss; So far bosses have been fairly interesting and design well so that they should be doable regardless of your party. Thus, I'm having fun showing off what bosses are in the game.
Music: Sprawl Combat - Darkest Dungeon 2Darkest Dungeon 2 v.s. Darkest Dungeon 1 (Overview and Comparison)DistractionCrab2021-10-28 | DD2 has been a long awaited sequel, with many new changes and mechanics teased for quite a while. However, it was never clear how much of this was meant to work and play out, so I decided to make a short comparison video for the two games. The game is rather different from the first; Being a full rogue-like, where the first game was not. As it stands, I'm quite enjoying this, and this appeals to my sense of wanting to play from time to time, rather than the need for some tedium to continue my adventure, as it was in the first game.

New Spells, Charms, and Builds await you in this overhaul mod; The goal of this mod is to make builds more pronounced, viable, and interesting. Currently the mod only has 1.5 new spells done, and about 90% of charms remade, and health+damage values are the long term work needed to be done.
Comparing to the base game, where spells are the defacto meta, you will almost always run into the "Slash for soul into Cast" routine, without much variety. In this mod, pure casting with Spell twister makes a pure ranged build viable, as well as many other charms reworked to be more interesting, such as Heavy Strike now applying a bleed effect to enemies. Also summoning spells, while viable beforehand, didn't really rely on the charms: The best minion build was still an aggressive melee-mage, and didn't have much flavour. Here the goal is to make minions before involved, interesting, and to keep their solo-viability.
Notes on changes: Due to complications (i.e. irreparably breaking the game), we've kept out the Nail Arts as spells for now. In the meantime charm reworks, two new charms and spells are currently available. Likely broken atm due to very early alpha release.

It's as chaotic as you'd expect, but quite fun. Couldn't get the Pure Darkness mod working for Scholar edition, so couldn't do a full spook souls on this, but maybe next time.

In this video I go over 4 Lore-friendly builds. By Lore-Friendly, I mean builds that make sense equipment-wise, don't need to constantly change gear to make things work, and fits a general theme lore-wise.
The builds showcased here: - Assassin: Focuses are melee-based stealth, as well as applying poison and bleed. - Onion-Bro: A fairly tanking vegetable, which focuses on high healing while being able to trade blow effectively with foes. - Alchemist Bomber: A mad scientist focused on crafting explosives to use against their enemies. - Pathfinder: A druidic archer that always has a faithful companion; Emphasizes ranged damage and sustain with some poison and minions.

This run will show off all the items, enemies, mechanics, and balance of the game. Balance is now challenging, and makes for some deaths here and there. Overall, a good experience and a worthy successor to the base game. This run will not be edited at all, except for a break between live-streams, so we're in it for the long-haul and full-experience.
In this run we focus on seeing how much we can face tank, and it works out quite well. It's not trivial in many cases, but is quite effective.
At some point I'll do a vanilla run of something similar to compare how well it does versus the base game, since you can do pretty well face tanking in any of the souls games.
We run at Max NG+ to also test out the new scaling, since before it was a little... busted.
Also NG+ scaling has been fixed, which amazing! This was my most wanted feature of the mod, and it's been done, and it's great! This mod continues to impress, and still quite fun to play!

This is a story and progression overhaul mod, with some really neat ideas in it, and quite enjoyable to those who enjoyed the journey of DS1.
The Story by Alexander Nakarada[DS] Daughters of Ash (Part 3/Final)DistractionCrab2021-07-16 | First playthrough of the Daughters of Ash; It's not entirely blind, but I don't really know how the mod is supposed to progress, so there's a lot for me to explore around with. This mod is effectively a progression overhaul mod, with some new mechanics, but not emphasizing creating many new objects within the game.
