MHP GroupHow one little tin became a global phenomenon....
GAME wanted a disruptive, high-impact stunt to raise brand awareness in the build-up to the critical, highly competitive Christmas sales period. Our solution -- the Christmas Tinner --quickly became a global viral sensation and one of the most viewed, liked and shared PR stories of 2013. It appeared across UK and international national news and gaming media, was tweeted about over 27k times, shared over 110k times on Facebook and was even a subject of a sketch on U.S primetime show Saturday Night Live and an admiring feature on the website of The Smithsonian Institute. GAME was inundated with requests to put the product into production -- one man even went into a GAME store asking to buy 40 cans. The results 'blew the mind' of GAME's CEO who credited it in helping to almost double (83%) YOY sales in December 2013. Not bad for a little can of festive food.
