Charging the Nissan 2015 Leaf Tech and Cake 2018-01-23 | Need a really quick video guide on charging up your new Nissan Leaf? Well, here's mine, charging from a PodPoint, I can normally be up and charging in under two minutes. One of the main things that went wrong when I started putting the car on charge was forgetting I had charging timers set up, which are there for when you plug in the car, for example at home, and only want it to start charging in the night when electricity rates might be cheaper. I don't have a two tariff rate so I disabled this feature in the car, if you have it enabled you'll want to press the "immediate charge" button to cancel the charging timer on this occasion. On most public charging stations you'll also need to swipe an RFID access card to start charging or use an app. With PodPoint I plug in into charge and then go onto the app, find the point (it will show you the nearest one to your or you can favourite them) and press "Confirm Charge".Hope this helps, and yes, it is a quick guide, because too often guides are just full of people who won't stop talking, I just wanted it quick and relevant and something you can listen to without volume or having a blaring soundtrack. Rice, California, formerly named Blythe Junction, is a vacant town site in the Rice Valley and the southern tip of the Mojave Desert. It used to feature a Shoe Tree which unfortunately burned down - replaced by a Shoe Garden.

HOW I LOST (and found) my Mavic Pro drone- experience and tips! Footage and flight logs. Tech and Cake 2017-06-28 | So I don't like doing silly, dramatic, click-bait titles like some YouTubers, here it is, plain and simple. My little chat about how I have been very stupid and managed to lose my Mavic Pro Drone by way of not being able to get back on the battery I had. Losing signal at the last minute and *hoping* it didn't land in the trees. I honestly didn't think it would happen to me as I try to be reasonably sensible when I fly... but, oh boy, it had to happen. It was a sad evening. Had a similar experience? Let me know! Learn from my mistakes :) I am now another Mavic Pro loss statistic haha, but at least I managed to retrieve it! Happy flying!

DJI Mavic Pro over the British countryside with PolarPro ND 16 Filter Tech and Cake 2017-06-06 | Hello, this a little test of some of the filters I bought from Best Buy in the US, I bought some PolarPro filters (Amazon UK http://amzn.to/2rw8YKy) as they were the only ones available at the time, looking back at the reviews they only have about 3 stars or so, but so far I've had no issues, I keep them on when I shut down the aircraft and it causes no issue with gimbal calibration at startup, just make sure they are clipped in snug to the line as per the instructions.Anyway, enjoy some smooth jazz and some green hills, golden fields (and a church I found and wanted to get a closer look at) in UK. Let me know if you have the same filters or can recommend different ones, I think they certainly make the footage look better in bright sunlight! DJI Mavic Pro set up and firmware update (stuck at 35%) -solved Tech and Cake 2017-05-09 | First out of box drone and controller switch on for a beginner like me, setting up the DJI Mavic Pro and going through the initial setup as well as a firmware update... it get's stuck at 35% but not to worry... there's a way to get around it. It *should* hopefully still work if you leave it.
