At 1:20, I was surprised to see a brown smudge on the moon - it looked like a cockroach to me (lol). What I found odd is that after hundreds of hours of viewing the moon, I had never seen this 'shadow cockroach' before. Jupiter & 95% Moon Plus Several Cool Flybys - Poor Captures Tonight Jayling - Ohio Skies 2021-09-19 | The captures of both Jupiter and the Moon came out horribly tonight but because of scarce viewing conditions will share this anyway. There were a few flybys tonight - one was at 3:19 while viewing the moon and it was probably the fastest one that ever scooted past my screen in .06 of a second while at 16,000mm. And then at 4:05 there was a slow moving craft captured on the wide field of view camera going from left to right in the SE sky down by the moon. SuperMoon, Full Moon Rising, Lunar Eclipse Night - May 25, 2021 Jayling - Ohio Skies 2021-05-26 | Tonight we have the SuperMoon rising in the SE sky. It looks quite big in the sky because it’s at its closest point in orbit around Earth, which makes it a SuperMoon. At 3:18 there’s a large blob flyby (lol). Early in the morning as the moon is setting over in the SW sky, there will be a lunar eclipse. For folks over in Australia & New Zealand, and along the west coast of North America you should be able to see the entire eclipse.
