Reuben Kaye does not simply pass away — he erupts into the afterlife in a blaze of glamour, danger and uncontainable star power. His spectacular end arrives when he explodes from too much talent, bursting like a sausage in hot fat, leaving behind scorch marks, sequins and a lingering sense that the universe will never quite recover.
Before that dramatic exit, Reuben spends a delicious amount of time debating his last supper. Initially, he insists on oysters and a dry martini, explaining — with trademark candour — that “even in death he wants to be his goal weight.” But temptation wins. He performs a glorious U‑turn, embracing a feast so indulgent he wants the doctor to formally record the gout it caused. A final act of culinary defiance.
His funeral? Naturally humble and low key. He requests music by Hans Zimmer, because nothing whispers modesty like a full orchestral score shaking the rafters of the afterlife.
The episode is a riot of innuendo, mischief and boundary‑pushing brilliance — the kind of delicious naughtiness only Reuben Kaye can deliver, all with a smile and a twinkle that suggests he knows exactly how far he’s going and is delighted to go further.
And Mel? She is thoroughly entertained, swept up in the chaos, adding her own twists, turns and wicked embellishments. Together, she and Reuben build a collaborative funeral spectacular — outrageous, theatrical and destined for stardom — a send‑off only this pairing could conjure.

The infamously sharp Strictly judge arrives in the great beyond expecting nothing less than diamond-encrusted Pearly Gates.
His spectacular end comes while clearing reeds from the lake at his new house. He slips from the boat, drowns, and finds himself covered in slime and astrotravelling into the afterlife.
His last supper? a seafood lasagne, made entirely by himself.
At his funeral, people who absolutely shouldn't be there turn up, including a journalist who writes a review despite not even attending. Craig is cremated, before his very specific will leaves his Tesla, house and royalties to his various friends and family.
And finally, Craig delivers his own eulogy before facing the ultimate judgement.

Vicki Pepperdine gets personal as she talks about her Bunty, while Joel Dommett introduces us to his clicky rapper alter ego, Pud Pud.
A riotous collection of outrageous stories, brilliant performers and deathly hot takes — all sparked by Mel at the heart of the chaos.
If Dan has his way, it’ll be as chaotic, absurd, and gloriously over-the-top as the life he’s lived.
Joining Mel to plan his final farewell, Dan imagines meeting his end exactly where he belongs: on stage. The show comes to an unforgettable conclusion when a piano crashes onto his head, triggering a heart attack and securing one of comedy’s most dramatic exits.
The theatrics don’t stop there. Dan’s chosen coffin is shaped like a cigarette, ensuring he goes out in style, while his Last Supper is a simple but heartfelt feast of kebabs.
As for the wake? Forget sombre hymns and polite sandwiches. Dan wants a full-blown warehouse rave, with friends and family dancing the night away in a celebration that’s every bit as loud, chaotic, and unforgettable as he is.
Wild, wonderfully unconventional, and packed with big laughs, it’s Dan Tiernan planning the ultimate send-off: one giant cigarette, one flying piano, and one final kebab at a time.
The award-winning comedian and professional chaos merchant arrives in the great beyond exactly as she lived: making an entrance nobody saw coming.
Rosie imagines herself living a long, happy life before meeting a spectacularly dramatic end. Her cause of death? Being catapulted clean off a stage. Not a trip, not a fall, but a full airborne launch in front of a live audience.
As she hurtles towards her fate, she delivers her famous last words: "Boob-bye!" A final pun so perfectly terrible that it earns one last round of laughter and groans.
Before this untimely departure, Rosie enjoys a last supper consisting of an entire deep-fried chicken. No sides, no restraint, no regrets.
At the funeral, several of Rosie's ex-wives gather to pay their respects, creating an atmosphere that's only slightly more chaotic than she'd hoped for. Presiding over it all is Rosie's final masterpiece: a coffin adorned with a pair of cone-shaped boobs on the lid, ensuring nobody mistakes it for anyone else's.
It's an afterlife filled with ex-wives, deep-fried poultry, questionable engineering and unapologetic silliness. Rosie Jones' death is a gloriously funny farewell, exactly the sort of send-off she'd want: big, bold, and impossible to ignore.

The Blackburn-born comic, social commentator and self‑proclaimed grump arrives in the great beyond with all the serenity of a man who has spent decades perfecting the art of tutting. His final chapter begins in the holy city of Medinah, where Tez imagines himself passing away peacefully as an old man — and, in a twist of romantic tragedy, triggering the immediate death of his wife because she simply cannot live without him. Mel challenges this wildly self‑aggrandising notion, of course, but Tez doubles down with the confidence of a man who has never once been wrong in his own mind.
Before he even reaches Medinah, though, Tez’s last supper threatens to take him out early. He opts for a samosa starter — specifically the ones his mum makes, because she still lives with him - despite momentary confusion that she nearly went to live with Mel. They’re delicious, they’re comforting, and they’re absolutely capable of killing him. Tez muses on his mother's role in the house both nourishing him and pushing him towards diabetes.
As they wander through his imagined afterlife, Mel references Tez's role in Man Like Mobeen, and they lean on this 'character' to offer Samantha, a dear deathling advice of classic British passive aggressiveness.
Then comes the legacy, and Tez’s eyes light up. The most sought‑after item after his passing? His perfume collection. He currently owns 80 bottles, but insists that by the time he dies he’ll have “hundreds and hundreds,” far too many for the custom shelves he’s already had built. Mel imagines mourners fighting over limited‑edition oud while Tez nods solemnly, as though this is the inheritance battle history has been waiting for.
It’s an episode filled with devotion, delusion, samosa‑related peril and the unmistakable scent of a man who has never travelled lightly. Tez Ilyas’ death is a gloriously funny, fragrant farewell — equal parts holy pilgrimage and high‑end duty‑free.

The Irish comedian arrives in the great beyond accompanied by a soundtrack he never asked for: that dodgy Mike Rice jingle. It haunts him from the moment he crosses over, popping up every time Mel says his name, confirming his long‑held suspicion that The Rathbones have been out to get him all along.
Once inside, Mike joins Mel for a gloriously deranged wander through his final chapter. His last supper? A battered haggis, chosen with the solemn pride of a man who has absolutely eaten one in a car park at midnight.
And then comes the death itself — a spectacular, slow‑motion catastrophe on the hurling pitch of the most heroic nature. Mike may win the match for his countru but he also imagines his head exploding mid‑match, showering the county in a scene so dramatic it would require a full clean‑up crew. It’s messy, heroic, and exactly the kind of exit he believes he deserves.
But the legacy is where Mike truly shines. He leaves behind his most treasured earthly possession: a massive pile of odd socks, bequeathed lovingly — or maliciously, depending on your reading — to fellow comedian Vittorio Angelone. Whether Vittorio wants them is another matter entirely.
Hilarious, unhinged and packed with Rathbone family history. Mike Rice’s death is a riotous celebration of personality, paranoia and poorly matched footwear.

The Michelin‑starred chef, barbecue enthusiast and all‑round good egg arrives in the great beyond armed with nothing but a 48‑hour sourdough, a John Dory, and the kind of confidence that suggests he might actually blag his way past St Peter. And according to Tom, that’s exactly what he does — because if you’re going to talk your way into the pearly gates, you may as well do it with carbs.
Once inside, Tom joins Mel for a gloriously unhinged journey through his final chapter. Naturally, things begin with a discussion of blagging — Tom’s heavenly hustle inspiring Mel to confess her own disastrous attempt, which involved Paul Hollywood, Neff ovens, and a level of embarrassment she may never fully recover from.
From there, Tom’s funeral plans take a turn for the beautifully bizarre. His ashes aren’t scattered, buried or launched into the sky — they’re transformed into Tom Ash Salt, a seasoning so potent it could probably win a Great British Menu heat all on its own. And while we’re on the subject of questionable substances, Mel shares the tale of the hash brownies that once had her convinced Sue Perkins was flying past her window like a witch. It’s a miracle she made it to the recording.
But it’s not all chaos and culinary madness. Tom gives us one of the most heartfelt moments in WTAWTAW history when he talks about his son — and the daily reminder he gives him: be kind, and be a superhero. It’s tender, grounding, and enough to make even Mel pause her giggles.
Hilarious, warm and packed with stories that swing wildly between the ridiculous and the deeply moving, Tom Kerridge’s death is a feast of personality. This episode is a must‑listen for anyone who loves food, fun, and a funeral plan with flavour.

The comedian, actor and impressionist Ronni Ancona joins actor, writer and comedian Sally Phillips in the great beyond as they sit down with Mel to plan a double departure that’s as gloriously ridiculous as you’d expect.
Sally’s imagined end comes courtesy of a driving lesson she finally took with none other than best pal, Ronni. Ronni, however, suffers a fatal act of kindness, attempting to release a trapped fly through a window and accidentally tumbling to her death in the process.
In this episode, Ronni reflects on her memorable departure from EastEnders, while Sally discusses her upcoming performance at the Lyric Theatre and reveals why her award-winning vacant stare could, in the right circumstances, completely paralyse anyone unfortunate enough to make eye contact.
From theatrical ambitions to absurd final moments, the pair build a send-off filled with surreal imagery, sharp wit and plenty of unexpected detours.
Warm, wonderfully strange and outrageously funny, it’s Ronni Ancona and Sally Phillips contemplating the end of life in their own uniquely brilliant ways, with chocolate mousse, flies, vacant stares and plenty of laughs along the way.
