As a side note, my wife and I have been busy building a living space for her parents in our home as they both are in the advanced stages of dementia and can no longer live by themselves. They are now in our home and my wife and I are spending a lot of time providing care for them, so for the time being, I will be publishing fewer videos.

This mockup uses a 6VDC battery pack driving an N20 6VDC 30RPM gear motor for power and still draws an average of 11MA during operation, which is about 1MA over the unloaded current of the gear motor.
I still like it!

My father was vice president of an engineering company that developed and produced oil field equipment and one of my favorite field trips was to his machine shop to watch the engineers and mechanics finalize and machine his designs.
This model, albeit quite modified for 3D printing, is my tribute to his original design to maintain baffle levels in oil storage tanks. I've utilized dodecagon sleeves to simplify the model.
