How To Successfully Fail [Tribute Video] AlphaKennyOne04 2010-04-28 | A small tribute to the greatness that is OTG and his "How to Successfully FAIL" series of video game playthroughs. What we have here is a collection of some of my favorite clips from previous playthroughs, as well as some of the more famous (or infamous) moments in HTSF history. This was a project that i've planned on doing for several months, but thanks to recent advice given to me by npaltmp (thanks dude!) I was able to collect all the clips I needed to make this possible. Now, I was collecting clips from varying resolutions, so I had to facilitate for some of the HD video clips. Stretching out some of the smaller videos would have looked bad, so I opted not to do that for the sake of video quality. Hopefully OTG and those already fans of his work will enjoy this collection, and for those who have never heard of him, feel free to give his playthroughs a look. Sidescroller Mapping Contest - Video Entry AlphaKennyOne04 2009-12-28 | As part of the sidescroller mapping contest over on interlopers.net, i've decided to upload a video of my scripted sequence of this dude running along the level in usual sidescroller fashion. The quality could be so much better, but my video renders all came out wrong. This is the best I could get. Sorry about that. This was made using the Valve Hammer Editor for the Source engine. Took me about 3 weeks of constant work to get it to this point. Thanks to interlopers for hosting their fine contests. This idea in particular was most interesting to me, which is why I wanted to submit an entry for it. Enjoy!
Im An Asshole: Liberty City AlphaKennyOne04 2009-12-01 | A long overdue update to my original "Asshole" videos made with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I really wanted to do a GTA4 version since I played it the night it was released on my Xbox 360. At the time, I didn't have the ability to record off my console (still don't) and I also had a really crappy computer. It seriously barely ran San Andreas acceptably. This was no longer an issue with my newly built computer, and I saw that the PC version was only 20 bucks, so I decided that not only do I want to play through the game again, but i'll make the video that I so wanted to make. There are a few things that I wish were a bit different while making. For instance, the "hot pink" car isn't exactly hot pink, however the lack of car customization and seemingly non-existant pink color in the Pay'n'Sprays had me deal with the color that was given. There are a few tiny things like that which I can also complain about, but they're minor details, really. All-in-all, i'm happy with the result. I hope you will be as well. So with that said, here's the GTA 4 version of the "Asshole" video. I hope you all enjoy it. I decided to boot up San Andreas for the first time in a very long time, and wreak me some havoc! It wasn't long before a camera crew started following me around. This is the footage that was found shortly after everyone was blown up in a tragic tank accident. I guess I should be more careful next time!
Im An Asshole: San Andreas [Version 2.0] AlphaKennyOne04 2007-10-26 | ***NOTES*** Back in 2005, inspired by a video of this song set to a collection of 'Halo' clips, I created the original version of the "San Andreas" version of this video. I didn't know about YouTube back then, so by the time I had uploaded it, I discovered that several people *cough*Combat*cough* (kiddin'!) have beaten me to it. It started out as boredom, but turned into a surprise hit, accumulating well over 1 million views total on various websites. This year, I decided to give it a slight upgrade. Mainly by re-recording all of the video clips for better quality. There are a few other changes as well. For example: I have used a lot of new clips, as well as a few from the first video, all of which were re-recorded, as stated earlier. I have also moved the credits to the END of the video instead of at the beginning. Because who wants to read the credits before a video? I don't. And of course, the best change of all: no FRAPS.com watermark at the top of the clips! I want to thank everyone who has enjoyed this video. Whether you saw it on my profile or otherwise. The supportive and approving comments far outweighed the ones that basically said "this vid sux lol!". (I did notice that a majority of those comments came from people on Myspace. Just sayin'). So yes, i'm glad so many people enjoyed the original version. I hope you will enjoy this updated version just as much, maybe even more!
