(249) Lockwood Padlock Series: 334B45 Padlock and its variants Keyless Entry 2021-11-14 | Part 6 of my Lockwood Padlock Series:Playlist: youtube.com/playlist?list=PLik2GtDX5xGUK_hzELXSYAQiccb1zr_IZIn this video I will be showing the current evolution of the 234 padlock series which is the 334B45 model. Although this model does not bare the 234 name it is pretty much identical to the 234B45 with a few minor changes. Firstly there is a new key bow which is very reminiscent of the Lockwood Gen6 restricted key bow however it was also offered with the iconic Lockwood clover style key bow. I have found that the locks with the new key contain spool drivers and the older style contain standard drivers. Another indicator of this difference is found on the packaging, where if the shackle has black zip ties around it then it will contain the standard drivers. The 334B45 features the same four body types as the 234B45 which are B for brass, S for Steel, C for closed/concealed shackle and M for marine. The quick change shackle feature on the 334B45 works slightly differently but is only available on the brass version whereas it was available across the entire range with the 234B45 range. All research has been done by myself and to the best of my ability.
