Still, I've been playing more Force of Virtue recently which can be played on a 2x2 table, so that's much more doable. As I muddled my way through this, I found that none of the techniques needed to build this are very complex at all, so anyone should be able to replicate most of it. Today I am honoured to welcome back Dr. Noel Buttigieg, whose recent book "Bread and Bakers in 18th Century Malta" turned out to be an amazing account of political manoeuvring, clandestine transactions, and occasionally outright violence; sometimes in pursuit of social order, sometimes in pursuit of profit, and sometimes for pure and simple survival.Dr. Buttigieg is a Senior Lecturer, Researcher & Coordinator of Undergraduate Programme of Studies (Institute for Tourism. Travel & Culture, University of Malta). His areas of research include food history and the history of tourism, and he is the ideal guide into this frequently underexplored but critically important facet of the past. I thought they'd make great scatter terrain for Dungeons and Dragons or EZD6, or mobile objectives for Mordheim or Force of Virtue. Can we run Strahd in EZD6? EZD6 Wasted World - A Post Apocalyptic Tabletop RPG by DM Scotty Karl makes stuff 2024-03-20 | When it comes to tabletop games I'm a sword and sorcery guy through and through, but I grew up on a healthy diet of post apocalyptic movies, so when DM Scotty from @theDMsCraft asked me if I wanted to join in the playtest for his new post apocalyptic RPG I jumped right on! The game uses the same core mechanics as EZD6 but there's way more stuff in here, and it really is a love letter to the genre. I made a Ruined Tower for Mordheim, EZD6 and D&D out of XPS Foam Karl makes stuff 2024-01-09 | I've been wanting to make a large piece of terrain for a while, so way back in November I started to put together a tower for the One Shot Dungeon challenge we were running that month. The Mordheim Facebook Group (facebook.com/groups/2254256510) launched their own terrain challenge that month, and since I could easily make mine fit, I decided to modify my plans slightly and enter that one too. Making Miniature Foam Bricks - Is this ASMR or what? Karl makes stuff 2023-12-06 | I've recently been working on a brick intensive build, and several people have been asking me how I make my bricks, how I distress them, and how long it takes to make them. I also find the sounds of this process very soothing, so I thought I'd cover all the bases by doing a long recording of both steps. This is basically what you'd hear if you were in my crafting room, minus the occasional cuss word when I hit my head on something.The bricks being distressed in this video are obviously not all from the cut in the first part; however there aren't that many more cuts in there. The bricks I'm cutting are around 10mm x 5mm x 5mm, so a block 10cm x 5cm x 5cm will yield 1000 bricks. Mind you, I'm not great at maths so I might be wrong.The answer to how long it takes to lay all these bricks will have to wait.Hope you enjoy this video. EZD6 Combat Primer Karl makes stuff 2023-11-28 | I've noticed more than a few people asking questions about the basic combat mechanics for EZD6. The simplicity of the rules often catches people by surprise as they assume that they're missing something, and although there are a couple of cases which need clarification, in most cases the rules really are that straightforward.For the purposes of this video, I wanted to stick to the very basics so things like banes are not covered as they occur less often.
