My captivation with GGST has been peaking alongside the peak of its global offline competition, since March.
Throughout this time, online has been in its lowest valley since the delay-based beta.
Nonetheless, I resolved to improve using online. I have much to tell.
20 minutes and chapter time-stamped for your viewing pleasure:
Please join me on my journey into online tournaments, and out again.
It's a thrill ride; in it I unearth improvement strategies, Strive technology, & techniques.
Let me know some of yours.

TL;DR
It's not on Arc Sys to fix their game. It's on us to adapt. Right FGC?
̶N̶E̶R̶F̶ ̶
B̶U̶F̶F̶ ̶
P̶A̶T̶C̶H̶
ADAPT?
I tried, and thanks to a few online tournaments that used to be able to run, I succeeded at finding a way to improve and enjoy improving at Strive even while the servers stay bodied. Listen to find out more about the nature of my process and of my discoveries, of which I have a surplus to share.
Despite the sufferings of the servers at the moment, I still feel my play is peaking. I've bypassed the issues and you can too. Catch me online.

Both events were essentially the first wide international offline stage for their games, despite being released years apart, and despite GBVS needing the event more to showcase top-level play at offline potential to the world.

I wanted to make the most of the chance and discuss everything that I find particularly interesting about the series. I hit on everything-- the utterly global internationality and the multi-linguality of KOF, as well as KOF's distinct match flow as a team game with its life gain / timer relationships.
Crowd hits are a valuable currency in fighting games, KOF has no shortage, because "AYYYY" is a universally hype word to shout.
KOF has a unique rhythm and match flow determined by who has the character lead and life lead, and how the time on the clock determines how much life you get back. These are things I picked up mostly in observation, watching my friends play KOF, as well as occasionally using it as material to pass out to at night. Inject fighting games directly into your brain.

In debates, we procedurally address sub-topics. Playing against Mixup on Teiga's Casa stream, these sub-topics were chip kills, Lowain's food, & my stock-choices.
Plus, I narrate my journey in executing air to airs, by acknowledging failure and success; finding the nuance between.
Plus, a show of heart and my literacy, facing daunting odds versus

Dragon contains Fox in the corner while minizming risk, to perfection.
This video presents some hypotehtical krushing blow combos and tech traps that I thought of and demonstrated with painstaling training room pausing and player switching, as well as a few useful, but difficult things Rambo can do with claymore to create combos in a variety of situations, including throws, anti-airs, and crossups.
