The clouds were maybe moving a little too fast for it to blend better in After Effects. A lot more artifacting though. Edited in Adobe After Effects to stretch the time and motion blend between the frames. I used the CC Wide Time effect and Pixel Motion frame blending to achieve a smoother look.
It looks more artificial when the clouds are smaller and thinner though most of the video is much more realistic looking.
