【MAD 】 黒子のバスケ Kuroko no Basuke - Clash of the Miracles 奇跡の衝突 Shane H 2014-04-15 | It's a tribute video to my favorite sports anime Kuroko no Basuke (黒子のバスケ). I basically took some of the best animated scenes in the series (both seasons 1 and 2) and added some dialogue. Sounds easy enough, but the video took me almost a week to edit. A lot of scenes (and even reactions from the crowd) are portrayed differently from the original anime/manga. That is intentional on my creative part. I also took some liberties with the translations.A Clash of the Miracles: though not quite held in the same esteem as the Generation of Miracles which include Kise, Midorima, Aomine and Murasakibara, I also included Kuroko and Himuro in the 'clashes' not just for their incredible abilities but also the Sakuga animation of their scenes.Because of the high frame rate animation from start to finish, YouTube's bit-rate restrictions will make the video generally look horrible unless it is watched in 1080p. Videocopilot City Scene: Attack by Aliens Shane H 2011-05-27 | So what really happened? 1) A Lightning strike tears opens a wormhole (portal) to another dimension 2) An angry Alien just happened to shoot a laser beam through the portal onto a building 3) Unlike the Aliens from the Independence Day movie, these Aliens are pansies and could only do damage equivalent to a bazooka shooting lasers out of their belly buttons. :) Thanks mightily to Andrew Kramer for his Sky Replacement tutorials. I wanted to do more but I guess this is already pretty overkill for a 4 second video and my Pentium D PCcan only handle so many layers in After Effects CS4. Most of the effects are actually from Particle Illusion 3.0 this time. Only used stock footage from Action Essentials 2 for the cracks and water splash. Lightning, rain and puddles are from the Lightning, '3D Particle World' and 'Drizzle' presets. I got the sound effects from quite a few youtube users. Will credit them one by one in the near future. Please comment whether it is good or bad. Things you may not have noticed: 1) It is raining. 2) Puddles on the floor (barely visible though) 3) I made the cracks spread outwards quickly by using masking but because some parts of it were obscured by the explosion fireball, it seem to just appear suddenly. Mistakes: 1) Glass shards from the windows breaking on he right side of the explosion should be flying away from the camera, not towards unlike the debris and the other windows. Not mistakes: 1) Wormhole being out of place, appearing behind and in front of objects at the same time. It is supposed to warp space and time. it wouldn't look at neat if I put it in the same layer as the sky.
Action Essentials 2 Test - Machine Gun Mayhem Shane H 2011-05-26 | Officially the longest time I've spent on a video in proportion to its length. I shudder when I think about the time I'd have to spend on a 15 min effects laden video. 1. The actor relighting kinda sucks even though bulk of my time was spent on it. I think the feathering is too low. 2. Used Particle Illusion 3.0 sorely for the fireball. Action essentials 2 from Video Copilot for all the other effects and Sony Vegas 10 for editing. Adobe After Effects CS4 for motion tracking. 3.Yeah, effects were overkill and maybe a bit illogical but I just want to push the envelope a bit since it's only (technically) a 4 second clip. 4. I had Andrew Kramer killed in the end by a sniper gun. That's for the initial shaky cam. :) I'd have made the cam shake only after rendering everything. But seriously, his tutorials on the VCP website are awesome! If you freeze frame just before the video fades out, you can see a hole in his throat. It looked unnatural though which is why I had to quickly fade it out. 5. You can see some of the wall fragments at the bottom right corner are white, alluding to paint. 6.The ridiculous amount of debris flying is due to the 2 explosions (one at the wall and another happening just in front of the gun man), simulating explosive damage made by a tank cannon.On repeated viewing, I realised I should have made the second explosion louder since it is happening closer to camera, especially since it was drowned out by machine gun fire (which is just wrong).

I had hoped to make a fitting tribute to Ronaldinho but most of his real life moves proved too difficult to pull off in the game with my limited gaming ability. Assuming: -Real acquired their transfer targets Ribery and Rooney and took back Robben. -Barca also bought their transfer targets Mascherano, Evra and Robin Van Persie. 4. The events/highlights in the 2nd Half of the match are featured sequentially in this video (albeit heavily edited). Ronaldo heroically (lol) ignored his injuries and appeared in the 2nd half to help set up Wayne Rooney's 1st goal but succumbed to overwhelming pain and was substituted right after by Benzema who had an inspired showing throughout the half. Bojan Krkic came in for Henry. The entire half was gripping (or rather how I tried to portray it) end to end stuff epitomised by the EPIC MUSIC throughout. Real fought bravely through Rooney, Ribery, Robben and Benzema but excellent volleys by Messi and Ibrahimovic as well as a stunning 50 metre free kick by Xavi (after he was fouled by Robben) proved too much an obstacle for Real Madrid in the end. Match ends 8-6, with Rooney and Zlatan scoring hattricks, Messi, Ronaldo and Xavi scoring braces. Henry and Kaka complete the list of scorers. 5. PES 2010: Spain V.S Germany (Music Video) Shane H 2009-09-30 | Compilation of some highlights from playing PES 2010 DEMO using Spain against Germany (CPU) at Top Player difficulty. Despite being somewhat proficient in playing PES 2009 at Top Player, I'm terrible at this game! Some of the cheat moves from the previous version are nerfed but this means it is approaching real simulation now. MY honest assessment of the game is that it is a vast improvement over 2009 in terms of graphics and game-play (non arcade now). Let's hope the commentary matches up when the full game is released. The match as depicted by the video is a bit lopsided with the Germans scoring some good goals and the Spanish scoring some pretty crappy ones (still trying to figure the game out). The video is supposed to depict a game so exciting, passionate and eventful that the highlights can be made into a music video. You can say this is my vision of how the Euro 2008 final should be like: a 10-10 scoreline - just kidding!) Music is from the Street Fighter 4 opening theme (including the much reviled pop song "Indestructible" and the much better "Volcanic Rim Stage Theme") Yeah it is about as appropriate as using the Sesame Street theme song for a 'Friday the 13th' music video. Bone-crunching fistfights and football don't exactly match in terms of sound effect so much of it is either weird or out of sync (i gave it a pretty good go though). Still, i suppose there are worse ways to spend 3 min of your time. ENJOY! :)

I wanted to see if i can make use of PES's excellent camera angles and my own editing skills to make some of my crappy goals/play look good. It is also a sort of parody to those fan tributes you can see of ordinary players made to look world class by clever editing. :) Season 9: League: Won league by 17 pts ahead of 2nd place Chelsea.This season however is epitomised by 2 absolutely epic cup finals. Finally got Team of the league award. League Cup Final v.s. Liverpool: I scored twice in normal time to overcome an early Steven Gerrard FK. Was subbed out and as expected, Rooney scored in injury time to equalise 2-2. Fully expected to lose from here but the team, sans me, went all the way into PK shootout and won 6-5 with Rooney missing the crucial penalty. Rooney went on to win player of the tournament. Euro Championship final v.s Barcelona: I scored twice to lead 2-0 despite an early Chris Gunter sending off. A silver lining was Messi (who was absolutely killing us) trodding off injured for the foul.Barca scored through an Eto volley. Being nearest to him, I was at fault. Lennon crossed for Campbell to score 78th min. 3-1!Surely this is it I thought. 81st min Corluka scored an O.G after I was slow to clear a loose ball in the area and Barca then equalised again through Puyol from a corner which was conceded by me. Probably one of the few times the coach was justified in taking me out. I had a hand in all 6 goals! Fabianski was the hero after making an astonishing number of saves in extra time (an Alves lob from outisde the area hit the post!) and also in the pen shootout (saving twice!). Defoe scored the winning penalty I was Top scorer and TOP assist in all competitions and player of qualifying round to the World Cup. End of the season, legend (in the game) Woodgate retires. Season 10: Won my first World Player of the year award for last season's treble. Another breeze in the league (won with 6 games to spare) and a 19 pt lead at the end of the season. Won MVP for the 1st and only time. Beat Arsenal in the league cup final 5-2 Failed to qualify for the Euro Championship knockout stage for the 1st time, losing to nemesis Bordeaux and Manchester City (twice!). I thought I could finally win the elusive Masters Cup but in the first knockout stage, despite leading Bordeaux (we seem to meet them at every opportunity) 2-1 away, the 2 away goals wasn't enough as Bordeaux won 3-2 in the return leg with Jenas conceding a last min penalty after I was subbed out. Painful, esp since the other 2 goals were wonder goals by Benzema and Cavenaghi. However, Japan won the World Cup to absolutely shatter any pain felt by the loss. The adventure was simply magical (more so if the Cup actually looked like the real one), demanding a special segment in the video. I would win World Player of the year a 2nd time for my exploits. Season 11: Last season The games got incredibly easy by now. Was it due to my stats, my accumulated experience as a player or did the computer A.I designed for it to be a honeymoon retirement? Who knows. I was skipping 1/3 of the league games and scored more goals than last season. Could have scored even more had I not tried to score wonder goals (and failing all but once) from outside the area all season. Highlight was a 6-0 win over Boro. I scored all 6 and the last was a lob into goal from my own half after the opposition keeper came out for a corner. It was the first and only time I did that in ALL the game modes. It was a wicked swerve and none of the many camera angles I tried could do the goal justice :) League title went to the wire (final game). Fortunately, we were 3 pts ahead and had a massively better goal difference than Manchester United so it didn't matter anyway. League Cup: Beat Everton (again) in the final 2-0 with me scoring both. Euro Championship: Beat Bordeaux (7-2 on aggregate) (payback!) on route to final where I scored a hattrick in the final for the first time, beating PSG 3-2. Was regular captain for much of this season. Highlight of the season must be lifting both trophies as captain.That's it! Sweet Retirement. 2 time World Player of the World Aizawa's back to his hometown Japan to play for his favorite club Urawa Red Diamonds! Awards I failed to win (easier this way) All Master Cup awards. Euro Championship MVP. League Cup MVP. Asia-Oceanic Cup Top Scorer. World Cup MVP and Top Scorer.

For instance, the moment Aizawa has always dreamed of is scoring against West Brom. A scrappy poacher's goal is a fantastic strike and a weak penalty is 'smashed in" etc. This is part tribute to the excellent game PES 2009 and part self-indulgence as an avid video maker. I wanted to see if i can make use of PES's excellent camera angles and my own editing skills to make some of my crappy goals/play look good. It is also a sort of parody to those fan tributes you can see of ordinary players made to look world class by clever editing. :) Season 6: Surprised to collect the European Footballer of the Year Award. Due to Heroics in 5th season? Won the league with a couple of matches to spare. This Spurs is not going to be beaten in a marathon competition. Met Liverpool for the 3rd time in a row in the League Cup last 16. Breezed past them but succumed to Chelsea in the last 8. Scored a hattrick twice in the European Championship both against Bordeaux in the group stage. Amazingly, despite getting whipped twice by us, they not only reached the knockout stage but the final as well. Won it despite Benzema scoring a brace. 1st World Cup experience was fun but brief. Playing for Japan after all. Drew 2-2 with mighty England (pleased to see my teammates Huddlestone, Bentley and Alnwick in the starting lineup) with me scoring the equalizer from a corner. England totally dominated. Only a dubious penalty with Rio Fernidand sent off prevented a loss. Beat Sweden and drew with South Africa (scoring again) to qualify for the knockout stage. Met Norway who scored through Carew (no surprise). I equalised only for them to lead again. This time, the stupid manager subbed me out in the 52nd min no less and Japan lost 4-1. Season 7: Top scorer in the league (tied with Tevez at 30) despite scoring only 5 goals in the 1st half of the season. Went on an amazing scoring streak in the last few games. Meet Liverpool in the last 16 of the league cup AGAIN. I got it now. The fixture is rigged since I last won it back in season 3. Chelsea in the quarters and Arsenal in the semis. At least we got Everton in the finals and won. Lost to Real Madrid in the last 8 of the CL despite me providing an assist. Subbed out in the 60+ min again even though i was by far the best player. This trend is starting to sicken me. They got to fix this in the next version. End of season, Bentley left for Torino. With Lennon peaking and Modric, Taarabt, De Guzman on the wings, he won't be missed. Season 8: Won league even before League Cup final was played. Top scorer and assist this time but the MVP (or even Team of the Season) continued to elude me due to my poor ratings.Scoring more goals from outisde the area now due to my improved stats. Even took over the penalty mantle although I missed so many of them (read that mentality was the key- mine was a low 75) EXACT SAME fixture for League Cup again except this time it was an epic cup final with Everton. Everton led twice and my defected shot in the dying seconds (yes amazingly i was left on the pitch but only because all 3 substitutions have been made) led to Defoe scoring and sending the game into extra time. Everton threatened throughout the 1st half before my cross led to Huddlstone's emphatic scissors kick winner. I am lovin' it! After another epic match with Valencia in the semis with me scoring the injury time winner, we beat Liverpool in the Euro Championship final (the team managed to take a 2-0 lead with me on the bench and Torres' goal to make it 2-1 after i was subbed in was mere consolation) to cap a 1st ever TREBLE. Won TOP Assist but 13 goals (Torres has 16) in the entire campaign wasn't enough for TOP Scorer. Heartache as Korea beat Japan in the Asia Oceanic cup semis (despite my early goal) in a penalty shootout. I was taken out long before extra time despite scoring and creating numerous chances for my teammates. Winning Team of the Tournament and Top Assist award was scant consolation. As I have decided to retire at 27, I will not win it again

In fact I struggled badly with the TOP PLAYER difficulty in the first 3 seasons (as my ratings and stats shown at the end of the video will attest). First half of the season was spent at Manchester City. Scored 2 goals and assists. Hastily packed my bags mid-season as 2nd in the league Spurs requested my services. Thought I could win an easy league title. I hardly played for the 1st team. When I did play, my hero-complex, poor stats and positional indiscipline cost us many games. 0 goals and 0 assists in the 2nd half of the season and Spurs nearly missed out on Euro Championship qualification. 2nd season: I adapted my play and limited my forays into the opposition area, playing more like a deep lying defensive midfielder (my poor speed and balance also partly the reason). Still losing too many games. Partly due to involvement in too many competitions (Euro Championship qualification and Master Cup) Spurs finished 9th in the league with 11 goals and 5 assists. Mainly scoring through corner kicks, close range shots and rebound tap-ins. Established myself as a regular by the end of the season. 3rd season: Called up for 3 friendly games with Japan. Scored once and assisted twice. Spurs barely qualified for Europe but I finally laid my hands on my first trophy, scoring the only goal in the League Cup final. Scoring more goals from mid range (a first hattrick at Villa) due to my focus on strengthening technique (kicking). Crossing is still crap though. 4th season: Bittersweet season. Beat Chelsea to the league title (thrasing them 6-1at home with Essien, Lampard and Cole all sent off was the highlight) but lost to them in the Euro Championship final (all London final). Another highlight was winning the Asia-Oceanic cup with Japan and being MVP. 5th season: Spurs is at her peak now with a wealth of talent all across the pitch. Youngsters like Tom Huddlestone, Dos Santos (amazing striker), Gareth Bale (monster at FKs and corners), Alan Hutton, Adel Taarabt have all matured with incredible stats. Seniors like Jenas, Bent, Defoe, Keane, Bentley, Lennon, Modric, Woodgate and Corluka etc are all still playing well and providing the backbone to the team. It was an amazing season. In the league we went head to head with Liverpool all season, winning the title on the final day with a 4-0 win at Wigan (we scored 109 goals in the league with me scoring only 19). In the Euro Championship, we were unstoppable, beating Barcelona 8-5 (in both legs, both teams attacked with wild abandon~an amazing tie) on aggregate in the semis and Real Madrid 3-0 in the final. Dos Santos, Bent, Defoe and me all ended up scoring more than 20 goals that season. And Japan qualified for the world cup.
